  1. 1. There are three stages which are cognitive stage, associative stage and autonomous stage. The cognitive stage means a description of the procedure is learnt. The associative stage is a method for performing the skill is work out. And the autonomous stage means the skill becomes more rapid and automatic.

2.According to socio-cultural point of view, learning is mediated a process with environment and language is ‘tool for thoughts’.

3.Unlike piaget, Vygotsky considered the importance of inner speech for their cognitive development. For Vigotsky, private speech becomes inner speech and reflects an advance on the earliest uses of language which are social and interpersonal.

DQ)Learning by declarative knowledge becomes procedural and automized.
In my actual class, I’ll teach the knowledge, skill and language first and then teach students how to utilize them properly. Then I focused ‘how to apply’ and encourage students to use their language more successfully and automatically.

    As an applier
Teacher should consider learner’s zone of proximal development and help them learn more efficiently. For instance, although in the environment where the learners is not yet capable of independent speech, but learners can achieve the desired outcome with given relevant scaffolded help.

  2. 1. There are three stages; the cognitive stage, the associative stage, and the autonomous stage. The cognitive stage is a description of the procedure leant. The associative stage is a method for performing the skill worked out. The last one, the autonomous stage implies that skills become more and more rapid and automatic.

    2. Learning is a mediated process and tool for thoughts since it focuses on the child development. As child grows, learning can be developed with surrounding environments and tool for thoughts can be various roles in the process.

    3. Since they are different theories, I cannot say the differences between private and inner speech. As Vygotsky mentioned, private speech eventually becomes inner speech, a use of language to regulate internal thought, without any external articulation.

  3. DQ) I'll teach the target language and rules following the three stages. First, let Ss know how to deal with the procedure and basic rules. Next, I'll teach students how to use and perform them properly. Finally, I focused on ‘how to apply’ independently to let Ss generate their own language automatically.
